[All] Activision Confirms New Call of Duty, Tony Hawk, Guitar Hero Games

And speaks on the next James Bond title...

Activision has announced that it will be releasing several major titles during its 2008 fiscal year which begins April 1st, 2007.

We'll start the first quarter of fiscal [2008] with three strong movie-supported franchises, Spider-man 3, Shrek 3 and Transformers," chairman and CEO Bobby Kotick said. "Also anchoring our slate in fiscal 2008 will be strong new titles from a number of our core franchises: Tony Hawk, Call of Duty, and Marvel."

Kotick also confirmed that the company will release a new Guitar Hero game and a new game based on the World Series of Poker.

As for a game based on the new James Bond Casino Royale movie, it isn't going to happen. Activision plans to make a game based on the next James Bond film which is due out in theaters in May of 2008.
